We are AVLV (“Avolve”), a vertically integrated sustainable architecture and real estate development company established in 2018. We develop sustainable + mixed income single, multifamily, and mixed use developments. We offer cost effective sustainable architecture services to our developer clients and sustainable real estate investment opportunities to our investor clients.
ETHOS: Our mission is to implement and spread awareness of environmental and social sustainability. We believe architecture should enhance the human experience and improve quality of life. This is accomplished by integrating nature back into the built environment, evoking creative expression, and understanding the physical and psychological needs of the user. Just like the physiology of the human body with all of its complexities and synergy of parts, we believe architecture should be efficient, functional, and sustainable yet graceful and simplistic. Our inspiration stems from the greatest teacher of all, nature.

JONATHAN WALLACE

Jonathan is the founder and CEO at AVLV. Jonathan leads the company’s architecture and development operations as well as the overall long term growth, strategy, and mission.
Jonathan is an innovator, a visionary, a scholar, a humanitarian, and an environmentalist. His education and experience as an architect, general contractor, and developer are what has shaped his holistic approach to the built environment.
Starting from humble beginnings, Jonathan is self made. He started his career as a general laborer in construction to pay the bills while first attending architecture school. Over the years Jonathan has received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Temple University while gaining experience working in both the architecture and construction industries. As he rose through the ranks, Jonathan became a registered architect and general contractor. Having this dual knowledge and realizing the need for sustainable developments, Jonathan became a real estate developer and created a vertically integrated architecture and development company, AVLV.

Brian is the Director of Business Development & Marketing at AVLV. Brian harnesses his diverse skill set to amplify the company’s mission and establish a strong industry presence. He is deeply committed to sustainable design and responsible development, consistently delivering impactful marketing strategies that align with AVLV’s core values. With a genuine passion for creating a better world through innovative solutions, Brian’s expertise and dedication set the stage for remarkable success.
Brian is an accomplished Creative Director specializing in photography, creative direction, and brand consulting. With a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from Temple University, he brings a unique perspective that challenges boundaries and sparks fresh ideas. Brian’s strategic thinking and ability to identify valuable opportunities have led to successful campaigns for renowned brands in various industries. His extensive knowledge of architecture, storytelling, and Adobe Creative Suite empowers him to craft exceptional, results-driven campaigns.

As developers, we assess every project’s potential and calculate the associated risks. We study economic trends and developmental growth patterns within the surrounding areas to ensure a project’s viability. We look for opportunities to revitalize blighted areas, activate socioeconomic growth, and restore communities. All of our development projects are sustainable and include mixed income housing where applicable. Our developmental capacity includes projects ranging from single and multifamily residential to mixed-use, community and urban development.

SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS
Our partners are minimizing waste in packaging and source sustainable packaging materials. Many of their packaging materials are either recyclable or biodegradable. Bubble wraps are made from a minimum of 15% recycled plastic and 10% post-consumer content. Their kraft tubes are made from 70-100% post-consumer recycled content and 0-30% secondary recycled content.

TO CREATE A SUPPLY OF MIXED INCOME HOUSING
Implementing mixed income housing on all of our projects. This strategy will provide a platform to achieve upward mobility, financial independence, and employment. Low income neighborhoods often don't have access to many job options, decent grocery stores or high-performing schools. These neighborhoods also have high levels of concentrated poverty, racial disparities, and disinvested communities.
